It's Mother's Day on Sunday, 12 May. Why not treat Mom to breakfast in bed, or maybe a family brunch with the whole family? Read Mother's Day Celebration Made Easy for some simple suggestions for brunch or lunch.

Father's Day is Sunday, 17 June, and soon after there's Canada Day (1 July) and US Independence Day (4 July), so Gather Round the Grill and enjoy Beer Can Chicken and Great Grilled Vegetables or for some easy, excellent salads try Israeli Salad, Super Coleslaw and Potato Salad. For dessert, serve a platter of fresh fruit or Strawberry & Banana Frozen Yogurt, Chocolate Almond Apricot Clusters, Norene's Lemon Squares or Strawberry Buttermilk Sherbet. Your summer celebrations will be worth remembering!
